HOLY NAME SOCIETY
The Holy Name Society serves to exalt the name of Jesus Christ through prayer, service, and community and to assist with the spiritual needs of the men of the parish, to wit: the frequent reception of the sacraments, the honoring of the Holy Name by living an active religious life, and the working against all things that dishonor the Holy Name of Jesus.
Our Society contributes to the life of our parish and greater community by:

- cosponsoring events with the parish's Altar Society
- hosting an annual golf tournament to benefit Charleston Catholic School
- selling Christmas tree ornaments to benefit the works of the parish
- sponsoring buildings and grounds clean up days

Annual Charity Golf Tournament
The Saint Mary’s Holy Name Society will be holding their Seventh Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, October 11, 2021. This year we will be playing Snee Farm Country Club. Over the past years our participants and sponsors have enabled us to contribute scholarships to Charleston Catholic School, support our seminarians and contribute to the Saint Vincent de Paul Society and The Lowcountry Pregnancy Center as well as help provide for physical maintenance for our parish. We invite everyone to participate in this worthy endeavor by becoming a sponsor at some level or by fielding a team. Registration and sponsor forms may be found below.
