THE LADIES' ALTAR SOCIETY

The Ladies’ Altar Society is a dedicated group of parishioners serving our church and community. Our activities include:

• Altar Care — cleaning and polishing silver, communion rail gates, and other sacred items
• Seasonal Decorating — assisting with Christmas and Easter decorations
• Parish Partnerships — projects with the Holy Name Society 
• Benevolence — supporting parishioners in times of need
• Charitable Works — reaching out to those in need in our wider community
• Fundraising — events like our annual November Bake Sale
• College Ministry Support — supporting the College of Charleston Catholic Ministry
• Hospitality — assisting with select parish events
• Community Events — participating in local community events
• Fellowship — social gatherings and building friendships among members

Meetings are held in the parish hall every second Monday of each month, September through April. A light supper or hors d'oeuvres are served, meeting at 6:00p.m. Dues are $20/year.
