THE SACRAMENT OF MATRIMONY
Matrimony unites a baptized man and a baptized woman in a lifelong journey of love for each other, and is an expression of their desire to live out their marriage commitment in the Church. In a Catholic marriage, the couple accepts children lovingly from God as a part of their union. The marriage of a baptized and an unbaptized person, while not a sacramental union, may be celebrated within a Catholic liturgical celebration.
To celebrate Matrimony at Saint Mary of the Annunciation, at least one party must be registered and active in the parish at least one year. For more information, click the WEDDINGS tab at the top of the home page.
